Redux Media Launches VideoCast Network | Mediacaster Magazine - Broadband & Content

Montreal-based online advertising firm Redux Media has launched its VideoCast video advertising network in Canada.

The VideoCast Network is designed to offer agencies and brand marketers new online ad services and products, including in-stream and in-banner ads with pre-roll video, overlay, video-in-video and custom video creation.

VideoCast also provides advertisers with targeting and data measurement capabilities.

"The growth of online video consumption and subsequent inventory growth has exploded in the last few years," explains Redux Media President Claude Dugas. "Where the average online visitor was watching a relatively small amount of video content five years ago, the latest figures show that users are presently creating, consuming and sharing tens of billions of video streams per month in just the US alone. Redux Media is described as the fourth largest Canadian owned online advertising network in Canada and ranks 33rd largest network in the US. It launched in 2005, and now counts some 2,500 quality partner websites aggregated into fifteen niche content categories.
