Bell Media and Epitome Productions have started production on a new original dramatic TV series looking at success, failure and heartbreak in Hollywood.
With the working title Highland Gardens, the show is produced by Emmy-nominated Epitome Pictures, and written and directed by Canadian Martin Gero.
Linda Schuyler and Stephen Stohn are executive producers.
The details of where and when the show will air, or on what specific platforms it will be available, could not be confirmed. Bell Media says it will announce such details closer to broadcast.
The one-hour, six-part scripted series begins shooting in Toronto before continuing in Hollywood this Fall.
"It's so exciting to be starting production on a brand new series with our friends at Bell Media," said Executive Producer and CEO of Epitome Pictures Inc., Linda Schuyler. "I've always enjoyed telling stories about the adolescent experience. Now, I am looking forward to exploring a more adult point of view."
