More Montreal road shutdowns this weekend

MONTREAL - The list of road closures lengthens this weekend, with roadwork set to paint the city orange well into August.

Construction on the decaying Turcot Interchange is scheduled to close the ramp leading from eastbound Highway 20 to southbound Highway 15 Friday and Sunday night.

Also affected will be westbound Highway 720/20 and eastbound Highway 20/720, set to shut down Sunday night.

Closed since July 15, the westbound Highway 720 (Ville Marie Expressway) access road to the southbound Décarie Expressway is expected to reopen Aug. 9.

Westbound Highway 20 is slated to be sealed off to motorists between Highways 13 and 520 (Côte de Liesse Rd.) Friday and Saturday night.
